To wear, attach the chain to the sporran and thread the chain and belt through the belt loops in the back of the kilt. Tighten the sporran belt as desired. Make sure your sporran is hanging two inches below your belt, or about 4-5 inches below the top band of the kilt.
Or use our (optional) Snap-on Sporran Hangers. Simply attach one to the loops on the back of the sporran, loop the leather around your belt, and snap in place.

This is the best sporran for its price. My pipe band has used this sporran for over 5 years. The life span of this sporran, when worn 50 times per year is about 5 years. That's usage by middle school kids. Lifespan of the sporran is a couple years longer for adults.
