Piper's Pal Reed Protector with Alert Top
Just a glance at the dial on top will let you know if your Piper's Pal Reed Protector Alert would benefit from a bit more water. The indicator clearly shows the optimum and recharge ranges to make sure your chanter reed is properly humidified. The chanter rod seals the reed in from outside air. The contents in the cap absorb moisture when reeds are wet and provide moisture when reeds are dry.
