Our heavy-duty 16 oz acrylic fabric proves much more durable than 11 and 13 oz acrylic kilts on the market. Acrylic fibers are woven to mimic the look and texture of traditional wool. Our quality kilts are custom made using:
- 6 to 8 yards of 16 oz acrylic
- Deep pleats
- Pleated to stripe or sett
- Three belt loops
- Three sturdy genuine leather straps (2nd picture)
- Heavy-duty, pewter buckles (2nd picture)
- Hand-stitched, cotton, dye-free, full inner sweat panel (3rd picture)
- Invisible, hand-stitched front facing
- 2-3" hem for weighted movement, cleaner edges and future alterations
All purchased kilts are custom made to fit your specific measurements. Please follow our Measuring Guide to obtain the best fit for you.

Kilt Exceed All ExpectationsJust received my ancient MacLaren kilt today. I was very please with the quality and appearance of my kilt. I feel like it was a great value too. Will be recommending Atlanta Kilt at the Grandfather Mtn games this year as well as the Stone Mountain games. Exceeded all my expectations.

Great Kilts at Low PriceEvery time I have kilted needs, Atlanta Kilts is my first call. They have wide variety of traditional cut kilts and modern cargo kilts, in both solid colors and decent selection of tartans. I own two light weight acrylic kilts, Black Watch tartan and solid black. They are the most comfortable kilts I've worn. Their prices are lower than any other kilt store I've visited.
If that wasn't reason enough, the staff is amazingly friendly. I can't say enough good things about them.Posted on

Fantastic Value in a Made to Measure Acrylic KiltI was afraid I was going to have to bite the bullet, and cough up the $300+ for a wool kilt from another maker when I stumbled upon AtlantaKilts. I'm glad I did! I was looking for a kilt to be made using the tartan that had the greatest connection to my families history/heritage. I had searched quite a while for the specific Irish county tartan (Meath) I was interested in, before finding it here in an acrylic weave, and at such a reasonable cost. Don't get me wrong, wool kilts are wonderful, I love mine. However, they are not something I want to go hiking through the woods in. The made to measure kilt I received after placing my order surpassed my expectations! The kilt is well made, fits and looks great. I just placed another order for another kilt to be made (same tartan, different pleating).
