Our heavy-duty 16 oz acrylic fabric proves much more durable than 11 and 13 oz acrylic kilts on the market. Acrylic fibers are woven to mimic the look and texture of traditional wool. Our quality kilts are custom made using:
- 6 to 8 yards of 16 oz acrylic
- Deep pleats
- Pleated to stripe or sett
- Three belt loops
- Three sturdy genuine leather straps (2nd picture)
- Heavy-duty, pewter buckles (2nd picture)
- Hand-stitched, cotton, dye-free, full inner sweat panel (3rd picture)
- Invisible, hand-stitched front facing
- 2-3" hem for weighted movement, cleaner edges and future alterations

For my wedding I debated in my mind what to do and how much to have my heritage in my wedding. At first, it was just going to be Fly Plaids. After some thinking and reviewing, I jumped onboard with the kilt. The kilt standard package was great because it gave me a list of all things that are needed at a price that was reasonable. Later I will add and exchange for more elegant parts. But as a starter package this was great and it meet my needs at a price that was fair.

I am very happy with my Allison Modern kilt. It looked very nice and my wife is impressed with it. We went on a date last night in my full regalia and she was very pleased, even with the length.

The Kilt I purchased was made to the correct measurements and is comfortable, but…….Threads holding the pleats are not holding. I only dry clean my kilts, so I can only guess the seamstress that put it together didn’t see it properly. I hope they will improve this.

These Kilts fit like they should, have accurate colors & tartans, and are inexpensive enough you don't have to panic if something spills. The accompanying flashes - I've gotten three, two were perfect, one chose an odd part of the tartan - but they are made well.

The standard kilt from Atlanta Kilts is great quality, amazing workmanship and it was an absolutely perfect fit. I was a little hesitant ordering this kilt because the price point was so much lower than their wool kilts, I didn't know what to expect. The quality exceeded my expectations. This is a great kilt for a first purchase or everyday wear, and much more comfortable in hotter climates.
