All measurements are to be done purely in inches.  
Note A, Kilt Waist measurement: The kilt is usually worn at the waist line, in line with the navel, but some men wear the kilt below, at the same level as their pants.  Measure around your waist where you will wear the kilt to get an accurate measurement.
Note B, Kilt Length: Kneel down start at side on top of hip  bone, measure straight down to the floor kneeling up tall. Verify by standing and holding the measurement from your belt line to mid-knee. 
Note C, Check the jacket measurements: Please use a jacket that already fits you nicely to verify your following 3 jacket measurements:
1. BC half back: mid-back at B to sleeve seam at C.
2. KL sleeve length: Top of shoulder seam at K to an inch beyond your wrist at L.
3. Across the top of shoulders, seam to seam. Usually the seam extends a bit beyond the shoulder.
